Tonight, Stephen Curry took over the NBA world with his explosive performance. The 35-year-old single-handedly dismantled the Indiana Pacers on their home turf. The superstar kept draining three-pointers and dropped 42 points to take home a blowout 131-109 win. In the attempt, he crossed a historic milestone and etched his name into the history.

Steph became the 34th player in the NBA history to cross 23,000 points. He is currently behind the Lakers legend Elgin Baylor, who had dropped 23,165 points.

The All-Time three-point leader took on the Pacers without his Splash Brother Klay Thompson by his side. But he sure did remind Dub Nation of Klay with his draining three-pointers. Apart from crossing the 23,000 points mark, he was also on track to break Klay’s three-point record.

In October, 2018, Thompson set the record for most three-pointers in a game (14), which was previously held by Curry. After 5 odd years, Steph came closer to break the record. He dropped 11 three-pointers, but Steve Kerr pulled him out during the garbage time.

Moreover, he also holds the record for most games with 11+ three-pointers. Tonight, he recorded his 13th game with eleven 3-pointers. While the superstar had a below-average game against the Philadelphia 76ers yesterday, he evened it out tonight with a red-hot streak.

Curry didn’t have time to warm-up, he went off right from the word get go. The unstoppable three-point machine went 6-6 from behind the arc in the first quarter. This was enough to ignite a frenzy among the fans, as they expected the superstar to 82 points and beat Kobe Bryant’s high score.
