‘Pablo Torre Finds Out’ podcast recently revealed what Jordan Poole said to make Draymond Green punch him in the face during the Warrior’s training camp. Citing sources, the podcast host said that Poole’s comment “You’re an expensive backpack for 30″?triggered Green. This was what potentially led to the confrontation.?

According to the podcast host, “You’re an expensive backpack for 30′ is what was said. … Is what Jordan Poole told Draymond Green that got him punched in the f*****g face. … ‘You’re an expensive backpack for 30’ let’s diagram the sentence. 30 is who in this case? … Number 30, number one in your heart, Stephen Curry.”

The implication was that Green, despite his high salary, was merely riding on the coattails of Curry?s success. This is what triggered him to thrash Poole.?

The aftermath of the altercation

Following the incident, both Green and Poole remained tight-lipped about the specifics of the altercation. Green did apologize to Poole and the rest of the team, acknowledging his actions were wrong.?

But it was Poole who got traded from the team, a decision which was welcomed by Curry himself. This latest revelation cannot entirely be discredited. As Poole took a hard jibe at him in front of the other teammates, it escalated to a point that turned out to be the most dipping point in the Warriors dynasty.?
