Today’s clash between the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns was a type of thriller NBA fans live for. The Warriors were fresh off a three-game win streak on the road with their defensive powerhouse Gary Payton II back on the squad. The Big Three of Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker spearheaded the Suns. However, the two main narratives ahead of the matchup were Draymond Green-Jusuf Nurkić face-off, and, of course, Stephen Curry vs KD.

In the end, the Dubs prevailed at Chase Center with a clutch three-pointer from Curry with only 0.7 minute remaining on the shot clock to seal the game 113-112. After the match, former Warriors General Manager Bob Myers joined the NBA Countdown with Stephen A. Smith and Malika Andrews to comment on this thriller.

However, his take on KD vs Steph debate has made him a public enemy. “He was the best player in a series with LeBron James, Steph Curry. He was the finals MVP,” said Bob.

Another user empathized with this comment reiterating, “I’ve always said that if Steph could foreshadow the narrative of him needing to prove his greatness, things would’ve looked differently.”

Another user highlighted a separate issue writing, “Why did KD bail on them tho? I’m still confused till this day”

In the end, ‘God’schild’ chimed in again writing, “What games were you watching. They double guarded Steph so KD stayed wide open. Clearly the opposition didn’t feel KD was the best or biggest threat on the court. I expect another ring this year to shut some folks up again.”
