Imagine a starting five of all Curry’s. Well, that was what the TODAY show host asked Stephen Curry, who recently turned into a father of four wonderful kids. As a group milestone, the Curry household witnessed his impeccable Paris showing, making his debut Olympic experience one he will never forget.

While on the show, Curry spoke about feeling “blessed” to share four great kids with his wife Ayesha Curry. But does he want more? After pointing to a swarm of kids behind him, the Chef simply said, “We will see what happens”. While he didn’t fully rule out the possibility, Curry admitted to feeling “complete” with the family he shares with Ayesha.

“Our family man, we feel complete. And like you said Ayesha, she got to bring the two boys over to Paris to watch the final couple of games. So great experience ahead for sure,” he said on the show.

Well, how does, Ayesha, a best-selling author, feel about having more kids? In an interview with TODAY in March, she spoke about feeling a “missing” element in their family being the reason she and Steph Curry decided to have another baby. They had Caius, who is now two months old, the 35-year-old admitted to feeling complete.

“Everything’s just feeling so balanced, so we’re really excited,” she said during the interview.

But even then she did reveal that her husband would go as far as having 10 kids just because he loves it so much. However, it’s vital to remember that as the mother carrying the child, it is one of the toughest and most challenging life journeys. Pregnancies are physically taxing and extremely grueling for women, and having gone through it four times, Ayesha Curry summed it perfectly. “Easy for him to say, right?” she sarcastically remarked.

Stephen Curry simply loves being a father

As much as Curry enjoys the rush of hitting a game-winning shot, the joys of being a father trump everything for him. He has reflected on these times in the past, even saying it is “the best job in the world”. And he lives up to it like it is his favorite thing to do. According to him, his children allow him to stay occupied and provide unconditional love.

According to certain reports, fatherhood was the paramount reason for the delay in his Olympic debut. In 2021, he was a top choice to be the point guard for Team USA. As he explained in an interview with The New York Times, “No regrets at all. Obviously being here, playing golf, having fun with my family — that’s a personal thing. But there’s always that itch to play and play on the biggest stage, like the Olympics. But it just wasn’t the right thing for me and the right time,”

For him, the best part about being a father is just staying present. When he is at home, the laughs and smiles of his children upon his arrival instantly repair his mood if the Warriors have had a bad game. To Stephen Curry, being a father and watching his kids grow and shape their personalities is the greatest part of it all.
