Ayesha, the stunning, kind, and successful wife of Stephen Curry is his biggest supporter on and off the court. Whenever she isn’t on the courtside cheering for her Golden Boy, or busy with their three children, Ayesha loves to indulge in her favorite shows and movies. This time, she picked up a Bollywood movie starring Alia Bhatt.

Titled Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which translates to ‘Rocky and Rani’s Love Story’, the movie was released in July of this year and became an instant hit. Since Steph doesn’t have another game until the 22nd, Ayesha decided to use this free time to immerse herself in this film. She was so impressed that she wanted to give credit to the team, especially to Alia Bhatt, the female lead of the movie.

Taking to Instagram, Ayesha shared a story with her fans that shows a boomerang video of a scene from the movie starring Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Expressing her love and appreciation for the film as well as for Alia, Ayesha simply captioned it as “It’s so good! Loving this!” with a hashtag of the movie and tagged Alia Bhatt.

Directed by well-known Bollywood director Karan Johar, the rom-com family drama movie immediately found favor among fans and garnered more than $44 million worldwide. Considering that the budget of the movie was $20 million, that is a huge return, becoming the eighth-highest-grossing Indian movie of the year. Speaking of movies, Ayesha herself is no stranger to acting.

You would be surprised to know that Ayesha delved into acting as early as three years old, starring alongside well-known Hollywood actor Tim Allen in the movie The Santa Clause. After high school, she moved to LA in order to pursue acting. She is known for her roles in movies like Gary Unmarried (2008), Love For Sale (2008), and most notably in the show Hannah Montana as Andrea.

Moreover, Ayesha has a new movie on the way, which is set to be released in 2024. She will be starring alongside stars like Lindsay Lohan in the rom-com movie titled Irish Wish. Apart from acting, Ayesha is also a successful entrepreneur, author, and host of her cooking show called Ayesha’s Homemade.
