Steve Kerr cleared the air amid the looming uncertainty. After last night’s loss, fans and critics raised questions on the Big 3 union. Some sections of fans even declared that the game against the Sacramento Kings was their last game together. Along with Klay Thompson, Draymond Green was also dragged into debate owing to his suspension saga. However, Kerr put an end to it with a stern statement addressing the fans.

On the latest episode of 95.7 The Game radio show, Kerr spoke about the trust he has in Green. He said, “I will stick with [Draymond] forever because I know who he is as a human being.” Moreover, he also left a strong statement to fans, who questioned Green’s absences this season.

Kerr commented, “For our fans, I would say: Be lucky, be fortunate, be grateful that you’ve had Draymond Green for 12 years. You have 4 championships and 2 finals appearances beyond that.” The 9x NBA Champion then went on to vouch for the star power forward.

He added, Draymond is fighting to be the best version of himself now. I’m embracing it. Our whole organization is embracing it because we love him and I think our fans do too.”

On the other hand, Draymond Green sure does have a season to forget. He faced two suspensions this season. And, the Dubs have a poor record of 13-14 without DrayMagic as well. Fans and critics addressed the record and blamed the star for losing his temperament despite being the centerpiece of the Warriors’ attack.

However, ever since his return from his second suspension, Green has kept his cool on the court apart from one occasion when he got ejected for arguing with the referee. The league also directed him to undergo therapy during the indefinite suspension, and it definitely seemed to have helped the 34-year-old.

Draymond Green gets mocked after the Sac Town loss

While the Dub Nation sunk in sorrow after the early exit from the league, the rest of the fans fired shots at the Dubs dynasty. Last night, they suffered their 3rd Play-in loss and an embarrassing blow-out loss against the Sacramento Kings. Fans trolled Klay Thompson for his 0-10 FG and expected him not to return in Dubs’ thread.

Meanwhile, Draymond Green received a creative blow from Phoenix Suns‘ center, Jusuf Nurkić. The rivalry between the duo kick-started right after Green threw a punch at him on the floor. Even though the Warriors star was heavily penalized, Nurkic doesn’t seem to have let go of the 4x Champion.

While he mocked Green’s downfall in this season, he also wished for something else earlier in the season. A month after the ugly on-court incident, Nurkic had a relatively opposite view of Green. He said, “No bad feelings or any hate toward him,” and revealed that he wanted him to succeed.

Will Green respond to all the haters and save Kerr’s trust in him in the upcoming season? Let us know in the comments.
