Jusuf Nurkic waited out the entire season to sting back Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors will depart from the struggling 2023-24 NBA season after failing against their newly emerged rivals – the Sacramento Kings. Keegan Murray and De’Aaron Fox combined for 56 points, as their crew exposed every loose thread. With that, as the Warriors headed to the locker room to pack up for the season, Nurkic couldn’t help but mock the Bay Area team.

Taking to his X, Nurkic slyly put up a closing iris sequence from the Looney Tunes cartoon stating “That’s all Folks!.” You thought that was it? If you did, you were wrong as another shot followed.

He followed up his taunt with a laughing emoji just a minute later! Even though Nurkic did not mention Draymond Green or the Warriors, the timing of the clip and its significance of being the ending of the episodes indicated the Phoenix Suns‘ center’s intention.

Nurkic’s hilarious mockery comes from December 2023, which saw him tending to his face in the middle of a game. Draymond Green, in the middle of an inbound possession, blatantly punched Jusuf in the face. The move was completely unwarranted, as Nurkic was guarding him and both tried asserting themselves for a position on the floor.

As a result, Green was ejected from the game. Hours later, Jusuf Nurkic decided to throw verbal jabs at Green. “Personally, I feel like that brother need help,” he said in the post-game interview while calling the instance an unsportsmanlike act.

On the other hand, Green defended himself by stating that he was trying to sell the call. However, the Warriors’ floor general saw himself anchored out of the court, facing an indefinite suspension. Spotrac reported that the NBA veteran was eventually fined over $1.8 million for this incident because of his history of similar behavior.

With that scuffle out of the gate, Green decided to utilize his podcast and go on a brief rant about his plays over Nurkic; all while criticizing his skills and authenticity as a center. He also said, “He starts to question my character, what a coward. You go question a character about a basketball game that you just lost”.

With that, as the Warriors now transition to an early off-season, Nurkic gets to have the final laugh!
