Jarred Vanderbilt’s return to active rotation significantly boosts the Los Angeles Lakers, making them the healthiest they’ve been this season. Barring Gabe Vincent, the entire roster is ready to don their jerseys in the matchup against the Houston Rockets. LeBron James and his squad receive much-needed reinforcements for the home game; coinciding with the Rockets’ attempt to bounce back from a two-game losing streak.
The Lakers are themselves finding a cushioning to end their string of losses. With that, the court is set for a high-intensity showdown. However, as the two teams prepared for battle, a brilliant moment of sportsmanship and mutual respect unfolded between two of their players.

Known as one of the greatest basketball players in history, LeBron James never shies away from generously crediting other players; even his opponents on the court. As the Lakers hosted the Rockets, LeBron James caught a glimpse of his former teammate Jeff Green wrapping up his pregame routine with a self-alley off the backboard. Impressed by the sight, the scoring leader took it upon himself to make sure Green was aware of his admiration.

Despite winning a championship, Green’s ring is still due
Jeff Green played a pivotal role in the Denver Nuggets’ championship run last season. He consistently contributed 9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. However, beyond on-court prowess, Green brought a valuable veteran presence and a winning mindset to the squad.
As Green moved on from the Nuggets this season, the ring he earned has yet to find its way to him. Typically, when a player switches teams, the ring ceremony is scheduled during a regular season matchup between the two teams. Oddly, despite two encounters between the Rockets and Denver this season, Jeff hasn’t received his championship ring.
