Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr went viral on social media for one of the most unusual reasons. The 9x NBA Champion took the limelight after his voice featured in one of the viral videos on the internet. Yes, you heard it right. During the Phoenix Suns‘ last outing against the Sacramento Kings, the Suns DJ trolled Kerr for ranting and comparing the Footprint Center to a techno club. In response, the Warriors HC took the troll on his chin and gave a hilarious response.

It has been that kind of season for the Dubs. Despite having superstars on their side, the team continues to struggle. Importantly, a team’s poor form ensures an animated head coach on the sidelines. While Kerr isn’t someone who explodes often from the court side he has his share of animated yellings. And, the techno club rant could be an extension of his frustration from the loss against the Suns.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr reacts to the viral troll song

During the Warriors trip to the Valley on November 22, Kerr said, “In this building, you can’t hear anything… It’s like a South Beach club out there… it’s just thumping, techno club music,” during an in-court interview. Little did Kerr know that this could bite him back. The Suns DJ, Chris Villa, turned Kerr’s rant into a palatable music number and aired it during the Friday night game at Footprint Center.

What will be Kerr’s response to the troll?

Apart from the trolls, Steve Kerr has to respond to an important question. The Warriors have already lost two games against the Suns this season. On both occasions, the Suns took home a comfortable victory. However, he has a golden opportunity to pay them back immediately, as they take on the Suns on their next outing at Footprint Center. So Kerr has many chances to pick up the mic and respond to the troll.
