The significant knee injury back in 2015 was a major blow for the player. However, things began to go haywire when he signed a max deal with the Boston Celtics in 2019. After Boston turned to him to solve their point guard issues, he played for two more NBA teams before finally being waived by the Dallas Mavericks.
