With the NBA off-season nearing an end, the ongoing controversies are gaining even more momentum. One such area of dispute has been the future of James Harden at the Philadelphia 76ers. With the point guard looking to sign for the Los Angeles Clippers, a rapper with over 26 million albums sold shared his thoughts.
After a long stretch of disagreements, Harden’s future in the league is still under doubt. With the Clippers becoming a possible destination, the artist discussed the trade, shedding light on the potential driving forces.

What did the rapper say?
In a recent episode of UNDISPUTED,?Lil Wayne made an appearance to talk about the ongoing drama in Philadelphia. The artist with millions in record sales pointed out why the trade talks made sense to him. “Those players on that team, that’s his motivation,”?the 40-year-old said to justify his view.
The singer backed James as the 10-time All-Star put his self-interest over the team’s goals yet again. Wayne added, “That’s the type of people he like to play with,”?to mention how a change in culture could help the 34-year-old. “You get him where he wanna be, he gonna play,”?he stated to further explain his standpoint.

Lil Wayne was firm on his take that the former MVP needed more suitable teammates to perform. So, he believed that joining the Clippers would elevate Harden’s level because of the quality of their roster. This leads us to one significant question.

What if James Harden joins the Clippers?
The 76ers superstar has previously played with Russell Westbrook in the Oklahoma City Thunder and later in the Houston Rockets. So, the backcourt combination of the duo could be a massive boost for the LA side in case the deal goes through.
