The Bucks‘ journey in the In-Season Tournament ended last night at the hands of the Pacers, who served them a 128-119 loss. The Pacers will face the Lakers on Saturday for the much-anticipated showdown. For this conversation, however, one must go back to the Bucks vs Pacers game, where with less than a minute remaining on the clock, Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton sank a clean 3-point shot. And in a moment of celebration, the young star made the classic ‘Dame Time’ gesture.

Haliburton did this with Damian Lillard on the court, clearly rubbing it in the veteran’s face. Dame took it like a champ and later said that he can’t be upset when people do these things when he has done it to others multiple times in the past. However, the rapper and host of the Come and Talk 2 Me show Cam’ron has something else to say.

According to Cam’ron, players have done similar things to Dame in the past and have regretted it later, so Tyrese should probably watch out. He says the likes of Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and Patrick Beverly have done it before, and Dame “sent everybody home for playing games with that watch.” Well, Dame’s message to Tyrese was this: enjoy your moment, and that sounds like a very subtle but terrifying threat.

Cam’ron continues, “People behind the scenes, they just informed us that Damen Lillard said enjoy the moment. That’s, that’s dangerous.” During the post-game interview, all Dame had to say about the gesture aimed at him was, “When you dish it out, you gotta be willing to take it.” However, if one has been following the season, one can tell that Haliburton is definitely a threat on the floor.

Tyrese Haliburton is the next big star

The 23-year-old guard has been consistently performing well this season; he has continued to maintain his amazing form and emerged as the semifinal game’s breakout star. Tyrese served an impressive 15 assists, along with 27 points and 7 rebounds. He stood out as the highest scorer from the Pacers in the game.

Knocking down the powerhouse of the Eastern Conference, Tyrese is climbing the ladder to greatness. He has played 18 of the 20 games the Pacers have played so far in the season, and amassed averages of 26.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 12.1 assists.
