The new season is upon days. The NBA’s preseason has already begun and it will be followed by months of thrilling basketball action. To prepare their squad in the best way possible, every team is spending a lot of time in the gym and the training camps. In one such instance, the Los Angeles Lakers training camp saw something fierce cooking up.

LeBron James is heading toward his 21st season in the league. Despite being the oldest one on the roster, King James’ desire to be the best is still intact. Something special, yet tense, took place recently during the Lakers practice session. Sitting at the helm of it was LeBron himself, along with his two teammates.

Heated competition in the Lakers camp

With every team trying out their best combinations ahead of our regular season, the Lakers managed to cook up something special. There is no question when it comes to the LA franchise being one of the favorites this season. They have some of the finest talents on their squad and have all the reasons and resources to put their best foot forward. However, another aspect of having great talent is the constant butting of heads to one-up each other during practice.

Showing just the tenacity the Lakers possess, their official Instagram account posted a clip of King James, Anthony Davis, and Rai Hachimura going up against each other. Going by the special set of rules for their free throw challenge, AD, Hachimura, and LeBron tried their best to be the ones with the most points.

However, King James ended up winning the competition, but before closing out, he did pay a compliment to his teammate. “That’s good money“, LeBron said to AD, who was counting his points, being closed in for 2nd position.

Even the Laker Nation gave their approval to the friendly yet competitive banter between their players. One fan commented, “The vibez are ???”.

LeBron James is now the oldest player in the league

It is well known that the all-time leading scorer wants to play alongside his son, Bronny James. In fact, he recently said that he’ll be dedicating this season to his son who went through a rough medical phase recently. When asked about how he feels, about being the oldest player in the league, King James had a hilarious reaction. With his hands placed on his head, he let out an eerie scream seconds before going for a dunk.
