While there are still areas for improvement in their overall game, few of them were mitigated due to lackluster performance by the Hawks. Furthermore, the Celtics managed to withstand the Hawks’ attempts to cut their lead. Additionally, early efforts to crash the offensive glass curbed the Celtics’ tendency to give up avoidable second-chance points.
