Johnson said, One of the best environments I’ve played in… the crowd was electric. So, that definitely brought us and gave us momentum. Especially down the stretch.”

Young led the Hawks over the Magic. But the second leading scorer was Jalen Johnson as he scored 19 points for the game and was a huge help to both Young and Dejounte Murray while on the floor.

The team also got a boost off the bench from Bogdan Bogdanovic. He scored 15 points in the 29 minutes that he played off the bench for the Atlanta Hawks. Though the Magic had an advantage in rebounding, it was Trae Young’s heroics that sealed the deal.

A team effort by Orlando

The Orlando Magic had the entire starting lineup in double-digits. However, there wasn’t any single player whose performance stood out the way Trae Young’s 41-point outing did.

The Magic were led by Jalen Suggs’ 21-point performance. The Magic also had two players who scored in double-digits off the bench for the team. Overall, it was a team effort by the Magic.

However, the fate of the game was decided in the final minute of the game: how Trae Young drove to the rim, collapsing the defense on himself and finding an open Dejounte Murray behind the three-point line. The Magic were not able to recuperate from that. A truly exciting ending.
