We’re well into the NBA offseason, and for most of the players, this break brings time to relax and enjoy the summer or even take part in random side quests. However, for a few, like Indiana Pacers superstar Tyrese Haliburton, the offseason is not as glamorous. The 26-year-old underwent surgery to repair his torn Achilles Tendon and is on crutches for the rest of the summer. That’s not how he would’ve imagined his offseason would go, for sure. If that wasn’t enough pain for the Indiana star, he’s now got to deal with stuff off the court as well.

Although Haliburton is in rehab, it seems that hasn’t stopped his long-time girlfriend, Jade Jones, from having an eventful summer. In fact, she has even found another partner to travel with. Jones recently posted a story on her Instagram with her friend, which had an interesting caption. “No one else I’d rather travel the world with!! I love you forever and ever!!! My sister for life,” she wrote on her story. The clip featured Jade Jones having a wholesome moment with her best friend, whom she’d love to travel the world.

Although we’re sure it was her way of showing her love for her best friend, it raised a few eyebrows. A few people felt that she snubbed Tyrese Haliburton. However, that wasn’t the case. On the other hand, Jones put up that story to wish her best friend happy birthday. In her previous story, Haliburton’s girlfriend put up a long and heartfelt text along with a collage of pictures to wish her friend on her special day. Nothing wrong with that, right?

Indeed, Jones and Haliburton share a great relationship. We’ve all seen that during the season, especially the finals. Not just that, the couple was also spotted celebrating the 4th of July together. So, it’s safe to say that they’re enjoying their time together and seem to be getting along just fine. However, meanwhile Jade Jones was busy celebrating her girlfriend’s birthday, the Pacers star found another way to spend some time alone at his home.

While Jade Jones enjoyed her me time with her best friend, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton found a cool way to enjoy his alone time. It all started when a fan tweeted about Haliburton. “Just thought about Haliburton hitting that game-winner in game 1 of the finals, what a beautiful moment that was, I hope he’s having a great day,” he tweeted. The fan reminisced about the Pacers star’s game-winning shot in Game 1 of the NBA Finals and wished that Haliburton was having a great day.

However, he never in his wildest dreams would’ve imagined that Tyrese would see this. In fact, not just see it, but respond to it. However, he was in luck, as the All-Star not only saw the fan’s message but even took out time to respond, and it was hilarious. Haliburton responded with a video from WWE 2K. Well, not just any in-game video, the Pacers guard shared a clip that featured a 2K character based on his teammate, T.J. McConnell.

This response had the fans in stitches, as Tyrese also had a message attached to the video. “Learned how to do this today, so I’d say it’s been a great day! Hope you’re having a great day too.” He wrote. The Pacers guard not only replied to the fan but even gave everyone a little sneak peek at his life during the offseason. As we all know, Tyrese Haliburton’s season ended in the most cruel way possible, and he’ll also spend the upcoming season in the stands. So, it’s great to see him having a good time while recovering from this huge setback.
