Before we dive into the Maxey situation, let’s take a look at Bron’s wholesome gesture toward the Philadelphia Eagles players. Following the game, unfazed by the loss, James once again linked up with the players before heading to the parking lot. This time it wasn’t a brief link up and also it wasn’t just those two players. He patiently clicked pictures with the NFC Champs and wished them luck for next Sunday’s Super Bowl Challenge against the Kansas City Chiefs. Amid this friendly get-together, Bron dropped a crucial warning.

Turnovers aren’t an issue only with the NBA but with the NFL as well. Before these Eagles players face their biggest test, Bron really wanted to put something on their heads. Notably, it’s coming from a man who faced 10 Super Bowls (Finals) himself in his NBA career. Moreover, before this link-up, Bron had already delivered another wholesome gesture. This time to the Philadelphia 76ers star Tyres Maxey, who single-handedly defeated the Lakers last night.

LeBron James leaves Tyrese Maxey star-struck

Last night, Tyrese Maxey was on a mission. The 5th year guard, who is amidst a break-out season, single-handedly destroyed the Lakers with a dominant 43-point outing. On the other end, LeBron James was his fierce competitor who in response dropped 31 points and 9 assists. While the duo battled it out on the court, after the final buzzer, Maxey instantly turned into a fan.

Maxey finally received what he longed for since his debut. A LeBron James game jersey and it was finally fulfilled. A reporter, spotting the jersey in his locker, asked the guard how much Bron meant to him at the post-game presser. Maxey, speaking of the jersey, said, “I told him after the game I said, ‘Look, man, I waited five years to ask for a jersey. I know I’ve known you for a while but I think I’m gonna get it this year.”

Following that, he went on about what James meant to him, saying, “He’s like a big brother to me. same agent. I worked out with him a few times every summer… We worked out at 6. I always, I’ll meet him at the gym a few times and he said ‘I can’t let that happen.’ He came to the gym at 5.” In that process, he made his say on the GOAT debate, saying, “He’s a great man. Greatest ever. Him and Jordan are right there neck-to-neck.” Did Maxey just play the safe game? Who do you think is the greatest? Let us know in the comments.
