During the second quarter of the clash against the Houston Rockets, Wemby had a horrific collision with the Rockets center Alperen Sengun. Following the collision, the young rookie looked rattled and immediately walked into the locker room, as per Tom Orsborn, a reporter.

Notably, this is the second time in the last two games. During the last game against the Indiana Pacers, Wembanyama suffered a blow on his left shoulder late in the game and clocked out. Later, he was placed in the Questionable ahead of tonight’s game, owing to shoulder soreness. However, the star rookie made it to the game.

In fact, both big men have their own personal battles active near the rim. On the other hand, the French baller is fresh off his record night against the Pacers. He became the first rookie to drop 25+ points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks in a back-to-back game.

Stepping into the Rockets game, he also had the opportunity to make it three games in a row to register as a stat line. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be the case for the 20-year-old, as the Rockets center and Dillon Brooks has been all-over him since the tip off.
