Draymond Green is the most polarizing figure in the modern NBA. His defensive prowess, playmaking abilities, and leadership have endeared him to millions of Warriors’ fans. However, it is his negative antics that have garnered attention more often than not. His constant bickering with referees, the combative nature of his play, and numerous altercations with opponents have contributed to the development of an unfavorable reputation around him.

Due to this negative reputation, rapper Fat Joe has alluded to the fact that Draymond belongs in the notorious “Terror Squad”. Fat Joe made this remark because of Draymond’s “bad temper”.

In a recent interview with HipHopDX, Fat Joe made his feelings regarding Draymond Green very clear. He said, “Your man Draymond Green is Terror Squad. He’s suspended, but he might get some new shots. Let me tell you something, he got a bad temper.” During the 1990s and 2000s, Fat Joe was a member of Terror Squad, a prominent Hip Hop group originating from the Bronx.

Although Fat Joe accurately identified Draymond’s temperamental issues, things might be much more complex. According to Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr, “The answer is to help Draymond. To give him the help he needs. Give him an opportunity to make a change that will not only help him, help our team, but help him for the rest of his life. This is not just about an outburst on the court. It’s about his life.”

The Athletic journalist Shams Charania broke the news that Draymond has started counseling and could be suspended for at least three weeks. Charania writes, “League sources said the 33-year-old was expected to receive counseling and work with the Warriors and NBA while suspended.” The Warriors fanbase would like to have Draymond back on court as soon as possible. But could we witness a different Draymond, or will he revert back to his old antics?
