As the clock ticks down to the 2024 NBA trade deadline on February 8, tension looms over the Golden State Warriors fanbase. With less than 24 hours remaining, there is no guarantee that some of the underperforming players on the roster will be shipped out. Amidst the uncertainty, the Warriors have found a reason to party. Following their 127-104 road victory against the Philadelphia 76ers, the team seemed to ease the nerves by celebrating Klay Thompson‘s 34th birthday on their flight back home.

Klay Thompson isn’t worried about the trade deadline

While there hasn’t been any confirmed news on Thompson or Green’s immediate future, there has been much debate about Klay’s potential trade. This was after senior The Athletic insider Shams Charania highlighted the problems the Warriors are currently facing and everyone except Stephen Curry was on the market. Despite the win on Wednesday, the Warriors are placed 11th in the Western Conference, outside of the Play-In spots.
