The Cleveland Cavaliers have ended their 7-year-long wait as they defeated the Golden State Warriors 115-104 at home. The hosts put an end to the visitors’ winning run of five games as they won for the first time since December 2016. The outcome came as a shocker, as the Cavaliers defied the odds in the regular season. This also put the spotlight on the recent remarks of CP3 alongside other aspects of the game.

3) Too slow to make it count

The transitions became a weak point for the Dubs as the hosts scored 26 points from the fast breaks against them. The Warriors were too slow to react and at times, too slow to move the ball to the other side of the court. That’s why a major disparity of 16 points between the two teams was observed in the fast-breaking scoring.

On other days, the Bay Area stars make up for it with their high volume and highly efficient three-point scoring. But as their form was not by their side on this occasion, the move heavily backfired on them.

With only two losses in seven games, the Warriors have nothing much to panic about. Still, they would look to find areas to improve their gameplay. With Chris Paul focusing on making his field goal attempts count, the future is bound to be exciting for the team.
