The 4x NBA champion Klay Thompson bitterly admits to being insecure after running hot in a difficult game against the Phoenix Suns. The Golden State Warriors were thrashed in the game as they scored a humble 105 against the Suns’ 134. Klay Thompson got ejected from the court and clearly, his emotions ran amuck.

In this heated game between the two formidable Western Conference NBA teams, Thompson ended up imitating Angel Reese’s smug ‘ring-me’ gesture. The Warrior now regretfully admits to boasting his four rings to the Suns’ shooting guard, Devin Booker.

The Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson is not afraid to eat the humble pie. During a heated game, Thompson let his emotions get the better of him. He took jabs at Devin Booker, a 3x NBA All-Star, by flexing his championship wins. This had to leave a nasty gash for Booker, who hasn’t won a single championship game to date.

In an episode on Podcast P with Paul George, Klay Thompson regretfully recalls this moment when asked about his favorite trash-talking moment.

Hence, Thompson looks back at this moment with bitter disappointment, “I don’t need to be flexing four rings bro like everybody know that, that’s on Wikipedia.

Then, Thompson said he had a lot of appreciation for Devin Booker as a player. Booker was one of the few players who survived the tough Phoenix Suns regime. In a time when every player was getting traded after a mere season, Booker became the Suns’ franchise player.

Booker’s game is only getting better by the day. He’s making even 4x champions like Thompson sweat on the court. The two haven’t battled in the playoffs yet and even if they do, we won’t be seeing Klay Thompson trash-talking on the court this time. That’s for sure.
