Former US President Barack Obama stayed in the office for eight strenuous years. He gave his every minute to making the United States a better place with constant reforms and new policies. And by the end, many felt that things did get better but there were a few who felt that it only got worse. One such person who shared the former opinion was Stephen Curry.

In an old 2021 interview, Stephen Curry sat down with the former US President. And urged on making America better again through one of Barack Obama?s compelling messages.

When Curry asked a hard-nosed question to the ex-President

The Golden State Warriors guard had the opportunity to have a sit down with former US President Barack Obama. The two talked about multiple aspects of politics and where the country was going. Eventually, Stephen Curry went on to ask a hard-nosed question from the former President of the United States. He said, ?How would you advise us as citizens no matter where to continue this pursuit of social and racial injustice in America??

?And I say that in terms of, we don?t have loud protests every week. We don?t have news coverage as much as we like to,? Steph went on to add. ?So, how would you advise us going into 2021 to continue these important conversations we need to have to not lose the momentum that we have gained over this last year??

As former US President Barack Obama continued with his answer, he said one very important aspect of being in a democracy. He said, ?So, no one event like elections settles things. Democracy is this constant process and you?re never done.?

While the former President?s words certainly held weight, he wasn?t wrong about a single event making all the changes. Being in a democracy, change takes a while to implement and more than a while to actually have an effect on society.
