Weeks After Hosting 16YO High School Phenom at His Basketball Camp, Stephen Curry Trains With Trae Young and Other NBA Stars for Upcoming Season

NBA’ 2023-24 season is approaching its commencement and Stephen Curry seems readier than ever. The 34-YO Warriors guard has been putting in the work throughout the offseason, apparently alongside diverse basketball talents. The 2-time MVP hosted a 16-year-old high school phenom at his basketball camp just weeks ago. Now, Curry has taken the court with veteran NBA stars, including the 2-time All-Star, Trae Young.

Stephen Curry has been very active with his basketball camps this offseason. While imparting basketball knowledge to the next-gen stars, Curry glimpsed the 16-year-old high school sensation in his camp. However, he has not limited his camp to just training youngsters. He has now hosted a mini-camp to prepare for the highly anticipated NBA season alongside the Atlanta Hawks guard, Young, and several other NBA stars.

Chef Curry has an exciting NBA season to look forward to this year. After some major front-office moves, the Warriors have given the 4-time champion a title-contending roster to work with. Hence, it is no surprise that the 9-time All-Star is preparing for the season rigorously. However, the Hawks guard, Trae Young, recently joined Curry in this effort along with several other NBA stars.

Curry recently hosted a mini-camp following his smash-hit basketball camp for young basketball athletes. This camp witnessed Curry introduce Trae Young and other NBA stars to his intense workout routine before the upcoming season.

Curry’s mini camp featured his own brother, Seth Curry, Toronto Raptors forward, OG Anunoby, veteran guard, Kent Bazemore, and several NBA rookies along with Young in the star-studded workout. The players had an intense workout where they shot deep three-pointers, worked on ball-handling, and engaged in agility drills. The Warriors guard’s mini camp enjoyed the similar success his camp did with the youngsters. His “Curry Camp” also had similar star-studded atmosphere with several promising high school prospects. However, 16-year-old Cooper Flagg stood out among the rest, thoroughly impressing Curry too.

Cooper Flagg is undoubtedly one of the most hyped prospects coming out of high school currently. The 16-year-old has taken the basketball world by storm with his polished game at such a young age. He brought this very skill to Curry Camp, leaving even the 4-time champion awestruck.

Stephen Curry put Flagg to test by engaging the 16-year-old in several intense workouts. However, Flagg persevered and in fact, stood out of the high schoolers present in the 2-time MVP’s camp. His immaculate footwork, shot-making, and explosive athleticism had Curry and Kent Bazemore thoroughly impressed.

Curry’s camps have had the knack of being extremely intense for even NBA stars. After all, playing at the level of the all-time leader in three-pointers requires the toughest of workouts. Now, Cooper Flagg, Trae Young, and other NBA stars have learned what it takes to be Stephen Curry.
