New York Knicks reveal the injury suffered by OG Anunoby

After OG Anunoby walked off the court, there was rampant speculation online about his injury. Some feared that Anunoby had suffered a blow to his Achilles, a devastating injury that could leave him sidelined for weeks if not months. However, the Knicks have provided us with an official update regarding his injury.

A tweet sent out by the Knicks PR revealed that OG Anunoby suffered a sprain to his right foot. They confirmed that he will be out for the rest of tonight’s game. It is very likely that after this injury, Anunoby will also miss the Knicks’ upcoming game against the Houston Rockets. Sitting third in the Eastern Conference, the Knicks will need Anunoby’s services if they are to do well in the post-season. Thankfully, with the All-Star break around the corner, the Knicks have some breathing room when it comes to OG’s recovery.
