So far, there is no update on any possible scares or an underlying injury on Stephen Curry’s ankle. However, when looking at the clip, one can’t help but think about the mind-numbing sensation. Steph’s inclination to play through the pain probably came because the game demanded so. The Warriors outscored the Pelicans by 18 points in 1st and 3rd quarter. However, were outscored by 23 in the second; leading to a 13 point deficit entering 4th.
Regardless, Stephen Curry went on a barrage of heaters, scoring 16 of his 33 points in the final 8 minutes of the game. He also had a chance to tie the game late but slightly missed the mark. Regardless, more than Steph’s miss, the loss came through the roster’s lack of mapping the floor. The Warriors gave up 16 turnovers throughout the game; all while failing to get back on defense and giving Pelicans 25 quick points.
The Warriors, behind a 114-109 loss, will now face the Utah Jazz for their final game of the season. They have a 3-0 record against them this season, which can help them carry a winning momentum past the regulation. Afterall, from what their standings looks like, they will need it.

Stephen Curry and Warriors might be in for a brawl
After their recent loss to the Pelicans, the Warriors’ play-off path might have taken a major detour. With the Sacramento Kings’ recent loss tot he Phoenix Suns, Warriors could face a tougher competitor for their playoff dreams.

Things will be merrier if Warriors wins the Jazz game and the Lakers lose to the Pelicans. This will even the two team’s season record, giving the Warriors an edge. However, the Lakers have won 2 of their three season games against Zion Williamson and Co., and can repeat a win. Furthermore, things haven’t sided in Warriors’ advantage all season long.
With that, if the Lakers win their coming game, the Warriors might have to face the tougher team from their last season’s playoff run: the Kings. The Kings are 2-2 against the Warriors this seas0n, and pose a bigger threat to Golden State’s playoff aspirations than the Lakers.
