The NBA trade window has been a whirlwind, with blockbuster deals reshaping the league. While the Luka Dončić–Anthony Davis trade stole most of the spotlight, another significant move flew under the radar. On Sunday, the Sacramento Kings made a franchise-altering decision, sending De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs in a three-team trade that brought Zach LaVine from the Chicago Bulls.

Letting go of Fox was no small decision, but after failing to secure his long-term commitment, the Kings shifted gears. Now, with LaVine in the mix, Sacramento is entering a new chapter. Naturally, fans are eager to know when they’ll see him in action.

James Ham of ESPN reports that LaVine is expected to suit up for the Kings on Wednesday night when they host the Orlando Magic at Golden 1 Center. “According to a league source, Zach LaVine is expected to be in uniform for the Kings on Wednesday night when the Orlando Magic visit Golden 1 Center.” Ham wrote in his tweet.

The anticipation is building, and for good reason. Not only does LaVine bring much-needed offensive firepower, but his debut also marks a reunion with former Bulls teammate DeMar DeRozan, adding an extra layer of excitement.

LaVine’s last appearance came on January 28 against Denver, where he put up 21 points and six assists. He has since missed time due to personal reasons but remains in strong form. His arrival gives Sacramento a major boost as they push for playoff positioning. But, before stepping onto the court for Sacramento, the two-time All-Star took to Instagram to reflect on his time in Chicago and express his excitement for the road ahead.
