Following the Golden State Warriors win over the New Orleans Pelicans, head coach Steve Kerr had an odd reaction to Curry’s dream start to the league. The 35-year-old superstar stepped into his 15th season, representing the Dubs and chasing his fifth ring. He kept the fans at bay ahead of the season, teasing them with workout and training videos.

Steve Kerr opens up on Stephen Curry’s dream start

Fresh off the victory against the Houston Rockets, the 4x NBA Champion hit the ground running with an outburst of points during the Monday night game. He dropped 42 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists in his 30-minute game time. Eventually paving the way for a comfortable 102-130 victory.

Apart from the Monday night outburst, Stephen Curry had a great start to season with a series of high-scoring games. He currently holds an average of 33.5 points in four games and tops the league for most points in the 4th quarter with 39 points.

In response to this start, Kerr had interesting words to describe the superstar, despite Steph’s 15-year unstoppable run.

During the post-game press conference, when a reporter asked Kerr whether he had seen Curry perform hot in the start of the season. The 9x NBA Champion said, “No, I don’t know what his numbers are, but he’s- he’s white hot. It’s amazing watching him. I mean, he looks better than ever at 35.”

Even though, Kerr was in denial to witness Curry’s dominance, Steph’s new teammate Chris Paul made a promising statement ahead of the season.

In an interview with PBSO News Hour, Curry said“I still feel like I—I’m in the prime of my career, in a sense of what I’m able to accomplish,” in the off season. Even though several pundits and fans pointed fingers at the superstar’s age, CP3 had a different answer.

He said, “…he going to be able to do it easy… He easily got 20 years in this league… Steph to 40, oh yeah!” He further hinted at the advancement of medical care which can help the players to extend their career.
