Ever since being traded to the Boston Celtics, Derrick White has found his true identity on the court. The 29-year-old is ready to do anything on the court to affect winning. Parallelly, Derrick White has had a seismic impact on the Celtics becoming the best team in the NBA this season. Playing as the offensive dictator, White helps rope every star on the Celtics roster. He likes to lead by example, playing ferocious defense and displaying uncanny devotion when switching to offense. The former Spurs guard is calm and unafraid of tense moments, often thriving in such a setting.

But how does he remain so tranquil and collected on the court? Of course, it is sparked by his tireless efforts and strenuous hard work behind the scenes. And it is also a sense of security and peace to know he has a partner like Hannah Schneider. The pair met when in college and have been inseparable since.

Hannah Schneider hails from White’s hometown

Hannah Schneider attended Chaparral High School in Parker. Astonishingly enough, it happens to be the hometown of Derrick White. The pair first bumped into each other when they both attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs before White transferred to Boulder for his senior year.

Schneider has been by his side ever since. She sat right by him when his name was called 29th overall by the San Antonio Spurs and she was present when he got traded to the Boston Celtics, a life-altering moment for both. White popped the question in 2021 after which they tied the knot in August 2021.

The couple share two children together, Hendrix who arrived in 2022 when the Celtics were playing the Miami Heat in the ECF. His birth came slightly earlier than expected, forcing White to take a spontaneous flight. While he wasn’t present in the delivery room, the 29-year-old relished the joy through photos and conversations. In 2023, they welcomed Daxton, their second son. Very little is known about Schneider’s professional career except that she worked in an animal hospital briefly where she worked as a receptionist.

Now, she and her two sons are cheering for Derrick White and the Celtics, who claimed Game 1 of the NBA Finals and are hoping to add an 18th title to the franchise.
