Picture this: an intimate, breathtaking outdoor ceremony on a rooftop patio, at Wild Dunes Resort, with the warm sun setting as the backdrop, casting golden hues over the bride and groom. It’s simply a dream, right? However, as it was hosted at 5:00 p.m., the ceremony began as the evening sun dipped below the horizon. It was a moment for family and friends to witness them make this lifelong commitment.
After they said “I do,” guests were treated to a reception indoors. This is where all the fun began but first food, for which there were reportedly stations to accommodate various tastes—from hearty meats and fresh fish to vegan options, ensuring everyone finds something they enjoy. And of course, the night was complemented by an open bar for those over 21, so the celebration could continue as long as the love and laughter did.
The couple had thought of everything, even down to the attire. They asked that guests dress smartly, but comfortably, given the heat of a South Carolina summer. Female guests are encouraged to wear long dresses or separates, but one thing to be followed: “As for colors, we just ask the females to refrain from wearing white dresses.” Meanwhile, men were asked to wear a suit or dress shirt with pants.
