Both Shannon and Josh Hart completed their school at Sidwell. While the latter continued with basketball, Shannon excelled in soccer. She helped her school to the top position in the Mid-Atlantic Conference and went on to be a part of the U-19 soccer league. From there, Shannon went on to play for the University of Maryland. Following graduation, she was reported to be working as a Sports Medicine Pre/Post Op registered nurse. While the rest hasn’t been disclosed, she has ensured to make herself known as Josh Hart’s biggest fan.
A little help along the way
Josh Hart was born on March 6, 1995, in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States to Moses and Pat Hart. Moses is known to be a chef while Pat reportedly worked as a waitress at a country club previously. The two have been instrumental in shaping Josh’s journey. Moses is said to have taken the Knicks forward to park down the street to practice basketball and sometimes include Josh’s brother for competition. Moses wanted his son to finish what he started and remained staunch in executing.

“I remember I read something about Michael Jordan, and he said while other people are sleeping, he was working,” Moses Hart says according to Bleacher Report. “That’s when I came up with the whole idea. That’s why we’d go up there [park] at night when most people were at home.”
Josh’s journey had its share of obstructions, financial, academic, often threatening Hart’s basketball journey. However, his parents, his friends at Sidwell, and then his coach at Villanova, all remained to help him to the stage today. The 29-year-old averages 9.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists as he enters second consecutive playoffs with the Knicks.
