However, after the Friday night win against the Memphis Grizzlies, Klaw decided to open up to the press in the locker room about a debate that he settled involving legends like Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O’Neal, and Bill Russell.

It’s impossible to get away from debate in the NBA world. One of the most popular debates is the GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Apart from that, there is the best point guard debate between Stephen Curry and Magic Johnson, and the best center debate involving Shaq, Bill, and Wilt.

It’s quite unfair to declare someone as the best in an NBA debate, because of the nature of the game and transitions over the years. Especially, dynamics of the game have changed a lot in the last few decades. In today’s generation, fans create quick comparison videos of players from different eras and claim someone as the best player. And Klaw had the best advice for the generation.

Following the Grizzlies games, a reporter enquired Leonard about the debate that Ivica Zubac, Jeremy Castleberry, the assistant coach of the Clippers, and himself had after the game. The Clippers star verified that the trio had a debate about Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, and Shaquille O’Neal.

Furthermore, he also gave an insight into how he settled the debate. He said, “Why are y’all looking at Instagram? Y’all gotta watch the whole game.”

He advised his colleagues to watch the whole game, instead of judging the legends with a short video clip on Instagram. While Leonard settled a debate, Shaq once declared opened up a debate involving the Clippers star.

Shaq has a very active social media handle where he regularly posts and interacts with his followers. Apart from that, he also stirs up the NBA world with GOAT debates.

In that line-up, a few years ago Shaq shared a picture of Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kawhi Leonard on his Instagram story, reported Sports Illustrated. The post also carried a caption that read, “The only players in the league with nothing left to prove.”
