The Milwaukee Bucks are on a roll. They grabbed another win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, improving their season record to a solid 35-25. Now, Milwaukee will shift its focus to Dallas. The Bucks will be hosting the Mavericks tonight playing a second leg of back-to-back games. They’ll be hoping to extend the team’s winning streak to four against a struggling Dallas side. But, they will require their superstars to emulate their performances from last night.

Yes, Milwaukee’s last night win was orchestrated by none other than, two-time league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who registered his sixth triple-double of the year. The Greek Freak finished the game with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Meanwhile, his partner in crime Damian Lillard chipped in another 23 points while shooting 50 percent from the field. However, the question is:  will these two superstars play on two consecutive nights?

Milwaukee Bucks injury report as they host the Dallas Mavericks tonight

The Milwaukee Bucks are currently fourth-seeded in the Eastern Conference, winning eight of their last ten games. This great form is largely credited to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s stellar performances with help from Damian Lillard and the rest of the Bucks roster. With the Bucks playing in back-to-back games tonight, will he suit up? Well, yes! The 30-year-old is not on the Bucks’ injury report as of now. This indicates that he’ll play against the Mavericks, who are in town tonight.

Antetokounmpo thrives against the Mavericks, he averages 26 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game against them. This is a huge boost for the Bucks, who are looking to extend their winning run. Meanwhile, there’s more good news for the Bucks! What looked like a scary sight during their win against the Hawks, isn’t much to worry about. Damian Lillard caught a nasty blow to his eye during the first quarter of the game.

The 30-year-old had to be subbed off for some treatment after falling on the court. However, he did return to action and ensured his team’s victory with just one eye. “It got better, it just was hard to keep my eye just open. My right one I could see clear, this one was just kind of like, blurry. From the impact, this side of my face was a little irritated. That was it.” Said Lillard after the game. Well, it seems that he’s doing much better now, so much so, that he isn’t on the injury report. This news helps the Bucks’ cause even more.

So far, Dame has been the team’s No. 2 behind Giannis. He’s averaging a solid 25.4 points, with 7.2 assists and 4.7 rebounds. Having both him and Antetokounmpo on the court will greatly help Milwaukee in facing Dallas. However, the Bucks still not be at full strength with just one injury on their roster. Shooting guard Pat Connaughton will miss the game due to a calf injury. With the availability of Antetokounmpo and Lillard, the Bucks will certainly look to exploit the absence of Dallas’ big men. Having said that, let’s see how they could line up for tonight.

With Giannis and Dame fit, how will the Milwaukee Bucks lineup?

With Giannis and Dame available, Milwaukee HC Doc Rivers will be highly relieved. Apart from the two superstars, new acquisition Kyle Kuzma is also settling into the lineup. The 29-year-old forward is averaging 15 points while shooting 42.8 percent from the field. The 36-year-old veteran Brook Lopez will also be eyeing a good game against Dallas, who are hard-hit with injuries.

So, here’s how the Bucks could start:

Ultimately, Milwaukee is favored to win this battle. They breezed past Dallas just a few days back, 132-117. Giannis Antetokounmpo was the star of the show and he’ll hope to do something similar tonight as well. Whereas the Mavericks had Kyrie Irving in that matchup, he scored 31 points. Now, with him also added to their already long list of injuries, it should be easy dub for Giannis and Co. As we await tip-off in Milwaukee.
