The LA Clippers will travel to South Florida to face the Miami Heat. Last night, the Clippers saw their three-game winning streak come to a halt against an injury-riddled Pelicans team. Zion Williamson’s triple-double saw the Clippers fall short of seven points agonizingly losing the game, 127-120. However, there was a bright spot for LA in this on-the-road defeat. That was Kawhi Leonard’s impressive effort despite the loss. The 33-year-old veteran showed some glimpses of his old self in the night.
He dropped a team-high 29 points along with 8 rebounds and three assists. His teammate James Harden chipped in another 25 points and 17 assists for the Clippers. However, this wasn’t enough for them to cross the finish line. Having said that, they’ll be hoping both of their superstars can follow suit in these performances against the Heat as well. But, if you’re not aware, Kawhi Leonard has been plagued with injuries and has not played back-to-back games in a while. So, will he play against Miami tonight?

Will Kawhi Leonard play on two consecutive nights? LA Clippers injury report reveals
The LA Clippers have a great opportunity to improve their table standings against a struggling Heat side. Miami is heading into this game on a four-game skid. So, the Clippers should look to get back to winning ways. However, for this, they’ll need help from none other than, Kawhi Leonard. The small forward is starting to hit the strides and could massively help his team’s playoff dreams. But, given the concerns over his fitness, can he suit up for tonight? Well, NO! Kawhi Leonard is not playing tonight! He is on the Clippers’ injury report indicating that we’ll not see him on the court tonight.
The 33-year-old Clippers forward has struggled with injuries throughout his career. Most recently, a knee surgery kept the hooper out for the first 34 games of the season. The same knee issue has seen him miss several matchups this season Leonard has just played 23 games this season due to the fitness problems. However, whenever he is available the Clippers have looked a real threat on the hardwood. While this season he’s averaging below his career averages, Leonard thrives against the Heat. Playing 17 times against the Heat The Klaw is averaging 22.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.

Also, he is 15-2 against the Heat, that’s just impressive, and not having him will reduce the Clippers’ chances of winning tonight. However, the Clippers will be without several key players tonight alongside Leonard. The most daunting absence once again will be of Norman Powell. The combo guard was the team’s best player before he suffered a hamstring injury. Not having Powell will be a massive blow for them. Well, that’s not all! Point guard Ben Simmons will also not be with the squad after suffering a knee injury. Simmons has been a solid role player for the Clippers averaging 6.3 points while shooting 55.2 percent from the field.
Clippers’ injury struggles continue with forward Drew Eubanks. The 28-year-old will miss tonight’s matchup due to a hip injury. He’ll be another player the Clippers will be gutted about tonight. Lastly, Seth Lundy is also ruled out from the game due to an ankle injury. While the 24-year-old’s stats might not be too impressive, he’s quite a handy player for the team. So, not having Kawhi Leonard fit for this game, the Clippers are without some serious firepower and will have to adjust and find a way to bounce back tonight. This brings us to one question: How will the lineup be for the clash?
