However, there’s more good news to follow for the Pelicans faithful! They announced some exciting news on Monday as superstar Zion Williamson was upgraded to questionable on their injury report. Williamson has missed the 27 games due to a hamstring injury he suffered in a game against the Cavaliers.

Furthermore, NBA Insider Michael Scotto confirmed the news as he tweeted, “Zion Williamson is available to make his return tonight for the New Orleans Pelicans. Williamson last appeared in a game on November 6, 2024.” Stating the Pelicans star will make his return to the hardwood after 61 days.

At the same time, Minnesota also returned to their achieving ways with a win over the Clippers ending their three-game losing streak. Additionally, even though the Pelicans will take a sigh of relief with Williamson’s return, they are still far from being at their full strength given their injury crisis.
