The Los Angeles Clippers seem to be running away with the game so far. The Clippers went into halftime with a 12-point lead over the Los Angeles Lakers. That was after LeBron James hit a three to cut the lead down to 12 and also stare down the Clippers bench, sending a subliminal message.

However, James’ so-called heroics did not manage to impress veteran NBA analyst Skip Bayless. Bayless went on to X to take shots at The King as the Lakers struggled to keep up with the Clippers.

The Los Angeles Clippers came out shooting, finishing the first quarter with a 13-point lead. And since then, the Lakers have been on their tail, trying to will themselves back into the game in any way possible.

LeBron James has been the team’s leading scorer, but his efforts do not seem to be enough for the Lakers. And even after his big three-point shot to cut the lead and give the Lakers some momentum going into the half, Skip Bayless was far from impressed.

Bayless went on to X, formerly Twitter, and said, Love LeBron making a three late in the first half to cut the Clippers’ lead to 12 AND TURNING TO STARE DOWN THE CLIPPERS BENCH. Come on, Bron, you’re shooting 30% from three. You set the all-time playoff record for consecutive missed 4th-quarter threes – 20! REALLY, KING?”

As Kawhi Leonard turns out to be a menace for Los Angeles, all three Lakers’ All-Stars are making a strong effort to keep the team in the game. James has enough help from D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Davis, even though Austin Reaves seems to have an off-game.

Is Skip Bayless biased?

It seems as if no matter what LeBron James accomplishes, Skip Bayless is right there to push him down the pedestal. Over the years, Bayless has been pretty vocal about Michael Jordan still being the GOAT, despite LeBron’s name constantly popping up.

So, it may be safe to say that Bayless may be a little biased. And he has never left an opportunity to belittle LeBron James’ feats and accomplishments over the years. Just like he did above, pointing out one of his rare bad statistics.
