and Jaden McDaniels, ended up with Thompson’s jersey being ripped, and Draymond coming to the rescue by putting Rudy in a headlock.

Draymond Green, known for his passion for the game, as well as for his teammates, which should be clear by now, has once again found himself at the center of attraction and scrutiny. The thing is, Draymond was not even part of the altercation, to begin with. However, he took matters into his own hands, and now he is looking at a possible suspension for it.

The NBA is looking into the matter

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has recently

shared a post on Instagram highlighting the entire issue. According to the post, the association is currently looking into the matter by reviewing some footage and interviews, which will give them a clear-cut insight and eventually come to a ruling regarding the entire altercation. Once the NBA concludes its investigation, the responsible individuals will have to deal with the consequences.

It all started when Thompson and McDaniels got into a physical confrontation that led to both grabbing onto each other, pulling and shoving each other. The situation escalated when Rudy stepped in to pull Thompson away. Not on Draymond’s watch, because he instantly rushed in to drag Rudy away in a headlock. The immediate consequence of this incident was all three of them getting ejected from the game.

Draymond’s second ejection of the season

It did not take more than two minutes into the game for the squabble to erupt. The referee, team officials, and teammates had to step in to defuse the situation, not before Thompson’s jersey was battered by McDaniels and he had to be led away by Chris Paul. We could say that Draymond was only looking out for his teammate, but that’s not for us to decide as the NBA will very soon give a ruling on the matter.

One thing’s for sure, Draymond did not hold back. This ejection will go down as his second one in the season so far. His first was during the 118-110 loss to the Cavaliers when he acquired two technical fouls and was ejected in the third quarter. This time, the situation is tense, and he might have to wait for a ruling before his next game against the OKC.
