The Shrine of Democracy has graced Mount Rushmore for over eight decades. The faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln are carved into this massive sculpture. It recognizes the architects and some of the most popular presidents in popular culture. Its influence has extended to sports, where being on Mount Rushmore implies that the athletes are among the best. 

For an athlete, it is a great honor to be in the Mount Rushmore of sports. Michael Jordan has been a regular figure in the Mt. Rushmore conversation. Tom Brady is also surely one of those athletes. As he dives into his life post-retirement, his legacy is being celebrated.

He made an appearance in a Valuetainment event, hosted by business phenom Patrick Bet-David. During this appearance, Bet-David asks Brady to look toward the crowd and not at the main screen. As he makes this request, the crew brings a huge board with a veil on. The entrepreneur urges Brady to “look away” as the legendary NFL player can’t control his curiosity and watches the arrival of the board.

Then he says, “I want to see the audience react first”, making Brady look away from the board. Then he asks the crew to take the veil off. As the veil is removed, the crowd gasps at the sight of a huge painting honoring Brady’s career. When he turns back, an overwhelmed Brady reacts by saying, “Aw, man!”. 

Then the business mogul explains that the left side of the picture is about his family, his rings, his on-field iconic moments, and his natal family, among some features. Then he directs his attention to the middle.

Pointing to a picture, the entrepreneur then states,  “We have this Mount Rushmore, with yourself, Michael, Tiger Woods, Messi”. As per the investor, both sides of the painting signify each half of Brady’s life. The left side with the New England Patriots and the right side with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

Reacting to this, the former NFL QB says, ”Unbelievable”. This comes hours after he had made his much-anticipated Fox News debut.

Tom Brady begins a new chapter

After his retirement from the NFL, Brady began his fresh career as a Fox News analyst. The enthralling NFL legend signed a hefty 10-year $375 million contract to keep on adding to his impressive net worth of $333 million. During his first appearance for the network, he backed his alma-meter University of Michigan’s Wolverines for the NCAA title. During the “High Noon Kickoff” show, he stated, “Look, guys, I hate to ruin this for everyone else, but this is Michigan’s year. We’re coming off two back-to-back Big Ten titles, two straight Ohio State beatdowns”.

As he begins his career as an analyst, many are still buzzing over his illustrious career. He will keep finding a place on the Mt. Rushmore of great players for a long time.
