The Golden State Warriors?Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry teamed up to take on NFL talents Patrick Mahomes?and Travis Kelce at the ‘The Match: Champions for Charity?golf tournament. The showdown was held on June 29, 2023, at the Wynn Golf Club.

As the match progressed, the basketball stars found themselves struggling with golf’s intricacies. Despite Curry’s reputation as a talented golfer, Mahomes and Kelce could take the lead early with Kelce’s effortless swings. The team ultimately prevailed with a 3-and-2 victory.

Now, months following his defeat, Klay Thompson?is out on the field again.

Thompson took to his Instagram story to share a video of him golfing in the evening.

Along with the video, he wrote, “Gotta finish the round.”

It could be possible that he might still be holding on to his loss against the NFL brothers.

Klay Thompson’s unrelenting competitive nature was on display at ‘The Match ‘ as he gave his all to practicing for the golf match. Unfortunately, despite giving his all, they ended up losing against the NFL brothers. Thompson later revealed his disappointment in losing ‘The Match’

He revealed, “Bro, I took it so serious that is why it hurt so bad but you can’t account for the nerves and the crowd. I let a lot of people down, Paul,” Thompson said during an episode of ‘Podcast P With Paul George.’

He continued, “All my friends were like- because they bet. They like to sports gamble and all that. They’re like ‘you and Steph are overwhelming favorites’ like ‘Imma put my money on y’all’. I’m like ‘alright, so you putting money on Steph, don’t put your money on me. Put it on Steph.”?

Even though the NBA brothers were off to an impressive start, they only managed to win one hole in the entire game.
