Is an Angel Reese vs. UConn Final incoming?

During the latest NCAA edition, UConn somehow made it to the Sweet Sixteen. They were missing their key players all season long and somehow managed to keep it all together. They entered the tournament as the second seed thanks to Lou-Lopez Sanchez, Nika Muhl, Azzi Fudd, Dorka Juhasz and Aaliyah Edwards. This unit accomplished a lot together, considering continuous injury troubles.

However, during the Sweet Sixteen battle against Ohio State, they would have loved to have their precious Guard Paige Bueckers. In a bright piece of news for UConn and basketball fans in general, the high-scoring phenom is returning to the action now.

Bueckers averaged 20.6 points on 46.4% from deep in her freshman year. As a sophomore, there were speculations that she and Clark were going to form a three-year rivalry in the college basketball scene. But injuries got in Paige’s way.

After having right ankle surgery in 2021, UConn was careful in bringing her back. During the 2021-2022, she did make her comeback, and played in 17 games, but looked like a different player altogether.
