The Denver Nuggets head into a very important matchup. The Nuggets will be facing the Timberwolves at the Ball Arena in the Conference semifinals. As the Nuggets head into the matchup, a cloud of uncertainty hangs over their key player, Jamal Murray.

Except for Murray, there is an update on another key player. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope sprained his left ankle in the game. Head coach Michael Malone’s recent update has left fans and analysts alike on edge because Murray’s status remains uncertain.

Cautious approach for Murray, positive signs for Caldwell-Pope

On a brighter note, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who has been battling a minor injury himself, has been a full participant in practice. Caldwell-Pope’s return would provide a much-needed boost to the Nuggets’ backcourt, especially if Murray is sidelined. Caldwell-Pope’s return will be a boost for the Nuggets because of his defensive ability and 3 pointer-scoring abilities. Pope averages 8.4 points per game in playoffs. He also averages 2.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, & 2.0 steals per game.
