The recent NBA Finals featuring Nikola Jokic and Jimmy Butler have divided fans regarding the intrigue level. There are many people that seem to consider the current Finals uninteresting. The Denver Nuggets aren’t a big-name like the Warriors or the Lakers, so that is from where the sentiment arrives. It can be argued that these finals have lacked the firepower, unlike last season when Curry and co. nabbed a championship. Since social media space allows for controversial opinions, experts and fans alike make hefty statements. In this regard, Shaquille O’Neal’s son has shared some strong opinions.

Myles B. O’Neal concurs that Nikola Jokic and Denver Nuggets are lacklustre

DJ, supermodel and TV personality Myles B O’Neal was the special guest on the show. The show host Marty Mush didn’t seem much pleased with the way the series has been going. He said that there were people who had perceived the series as boring when it began. Nonetheless, Mush was intrigued before the series began, but his position changed to it being boring. The host did acknowledge that Game 2 was good, but he just didn’t feel much engrossed in the series.

Someone among the crew had a different perspective and stated, “there are no major stars going at it but it is real basketball.”. To which O’Neal replied, ”I don’t wanna see that. It’s so boring.”. Mush agreed with the sentiment. The host then had some harsh words for potential Finals MVP Nikola Jokic. He said, ”Jokic had 30,20, and 10 last game. Great stats. I am just… He is a bag of milk”.

Myles B. O’Neal then went on to pile on the ridicule. He said, ”When have you ever heard someone say I am gonna watch a Nuggets game? No disrespect to Denver.” To which Mush said while laughing ,”Full disrespect”. This is when Zach, who is a part of the show, said, ”But let’s say they win, would you say next year, I gotta go and watch the Denver Nuggets, the defending champions?” This prompted a stern “No” from an unfazed O’Neal.

The disrespect for Jokic is real

Jokic continues to be perhaps the most neglected superstar in the NBA. Sports analyst Pat McAfee had said, ”Shoutout to joker being the most talented basketball player on earth. It’s a joy watching him play basketball…We didn’t know that he existed for most of the year”
