The late Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal during their time were an unstoppable duo. They together won 3 consecutive NBA finals in 2000, 2001, and 2002 seasons. While the personalities of both the players were poles apart, on the court, they were a headache for the best of the players.

Recently, a video posted by ESPN revealed that even the greats like Allen Iverson had no answer for the duo.
In the video posted by ESPN and shared by Shaq, we could hear Iverson recalling the 2001 NBA season run. He said while talking about Bryant, “There is nothing that you can take away because he always had something to counter. He had no weaknesses. The only thing you could do is contest his jumper, keep a hand in his face and try to fight him on the post.”.

He added, “We had a whole bunch of strategies to neutralize him, but the only thing we could do was pray that he had an off night.” While talking about Shaq, he said, “Shaq was just so dominant. Everybody talked about how great a series Dikembe had (player assigned on Shaq) but Shaq averaged like 30 and 15. It is a testament on how great he is.”

Kobe, Shaq, and the 2001 NBA championship
La Lakers had a dominant 2001 Championship run. In the finals, they beat the 76ers by 4-1. Shaquille O’Neal was named finals MVP with an average of 33 points, 15.8 rebounds, and 4.8 Assists. It was their second consecutive championship win, and they displayed a dominant behavior.

While Shaq and Kobe had a lot of ups and downs in their relationship off the court. But on the court, they were just brilliant. For one game of the NBA Finals, they combined to drop 62 points with Kobe scoring 32 and Shaq dropping 30 points.
