Retired NBA player and analyst, Kendrick Perkins has just raised a big question about LeBron James. According to Perkins, the Cleveland Cavaliers have a good squad and whether LeBron James would consider joining them.

LeBron James has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from the 2003-04 season till the 2009-10 season and he joined the Miami Heat the next season. James returned back to the Cavaliers a few seasons later.

Seeing LeBron James back in the iconic Cavaliers jersey is something everyone will love. Former player and analyst Kendrick Perkins has asked an interesting question. Will LeBron James consider rejoining the Cleveland Cavaliers?

With the Lakers lacking and Cleveland flying high in the league, the trade won’t seem that crazy. James has certainly not been able to carry his team this season in spite of having superstars like Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook. With injuries and health protocols hitting the Lakers roster hard, playoffs are a distant dream now.

The Lakers sit 7th in the Western conference in contrast to the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry who keep dominating. The trade, on the other hand, is not simple as it looks. The Cavaliers have to adjust their salary cap, which means offloading players.

Cleveland Cavaliers this season:

The Cavaliers have been amazing this season and they sit 3rd in the Eastern Conference. They have won 19 of their 31 games this season. Youngsters like Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Lauri Markkanen have really improved. Ricky Rubio has averaged 12.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 6.6 assists this season.

In spite of having a disappointing last season, Kevin Love has been sensational this season as he averages 12.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while shooting over 40% from outside the arc. Youngster Jarrett Allen has had everyone’s eyes glued on him. He ranks the highest in his team in the rebounds department with 10.8 rebounds and 16.8 points per game.

Their defense has been solid this season as they rank alongside the Golden State Warriors for the lowest points allowed per game. In spite of not having a roster full of superstars, the Cavs have really proved everyone wrong. The team has really gelled together in contrast to many other teams relying on individual brilliancy.
