After overpowering the league for five years, the Golden State Warriors are struggling to break even this season. Following their defeat against the Phoenix Suns, the Dubs now stand at 10-9. Once again, the Warriors have failed to achieve a three-game win streak this season.

Speaking of their matchup against the Suns, apart from Steph Curry, every Warrior player struggled to find their touch. Curry finished the game with a team-high of 27 points after playing 31 minutes.

Warriors’ players must be frustrated after not getting a consistent start this season. Their defensive star Draymond Green is very frustrated, to say the least.

After being ejected from a game a few nights ago, Green once again received a technical foul vs the Suns. After the foul call, Green called out the refs by saying, “Y’all gotta stop acting so emotional.”

Fortunately, the refs most likely didn’t hear Green’s complaint, otherwise he might have been ejected from this game as well. Honestly, what Green said was not completely wrong as many players have recently complained about the refs intervening too much in the game.

Although their job is to make sure the game runs seamlessly, we have witnessed some very questionable calls over the last few seasons. Whatever be the case, as of now, the Warriors must focus on improving their game and finding their form before it gets too late.

What should NBA fans expect from the Golden State Warriors this season?

Prior to the season start, most anticipated that the Warriors would pick things up from where they left off. However, after Klay Thompson‘s unfortunate injury, everything changed for the Dubs. In the absence of Klay, they are still trying different rotations to find out the one that works perfectly for them.

But in that process, the DubNation is stuck in the middle of the pack this season. If they keep heading on the same path, there is a good chance that Golden State will be eliminated early in the playoffs.
