NBA 2K is one of the highest-grossing games on the market and the excitement around it every year is top-notch. NBA fans wait patiently every year for the game to drop to check and compare the ratings of their favorite players. LeBron James has ruled 2K for the longest time now having the highest rating almost every year. He was even rated 99 in 2K14, with him being the cover player that year as well.

With him entering his 20th season in the NBA, he still is rated at an amazing score. Stephen Curry is another player who has always maintained a very high rating in almost every edition of NBA 2K. The 2022 Finals MVP has bagged another high score this time. However, what might come as a shock to you and most people out there is that these two are not the highest rated players. Then who is it?

NBA fans react to Giannis surpassing  LeBron James and Stephen Curry in NBA2K23

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the consecutive two-time MVP and 2020 defensive player of the year is rated the highest on NBA 2K23. This is sure to come as a shock to some people. A lot of NBA fans believed that the last season’s Finals MVP Stephen Curry or the GOAT candidate LeBron James would end up in the top.

With the 2K ratings coming out recently, the debate for the best player in the league has been flared once again and Steph and LeBron’s fans have shown their disappointment. Some of their reactions could be seen on Twitter. They were both hilarious and aggressive at the same time. Here are some of the reactions.

Giannis had another impressive season last year with him scoring 29.9 PPG, 11.6 RPG and 5.8 APG. But, he was knocked out by the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semis. LeBron James averaged a staggering 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists but couldn’t make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry averaged 25.5 points, 6.3 assists and 5.2 rebounds, leading his team to the promised land in the NBA Finals.
