LeBron James struggled to find courage before proposing to Savannah

King James and Savannah tied the knot in 2013. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar played for the Miami Heat back then. Alongside, he had Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, who received a special message from LeBron, and Chris Bosh beside him.

They were at a New Year’s party and James planned on proposing as soon as the clock struck midnight. However, even James, who plays in front of millions of people, felt very nervous.

“I had D Wade hold the ring for me all night because I didn’t want her to bump up against me and feel the ring. I asked him [for the ring] right after the ball dropped and he was like, “You ready?” and I said, “If you don’t give me this ring right now, I ain’t gonna to do it”, revealed the 19-time NBA All-Star according to sources.

He finally found the courage and popped the magical four word question, ‘will you marry me?’ Savannah said yes and the couple has been married for a decade now.

Being nervous was odd for the ‘confident’ LeBron
