Jalen Brunson has solidified himself as one of the most reliable players on the New York Knicks roster. In the ‘22-’23 season, he averaged 24 points on nearly 50% efficiency. In the postseason, he upped his numbers with nearly 28 points per game, scoring 30+ in the last 3 games against Miami. Knicks found a gem in Brunson’s work ethic and leadership qualities. Along with exceptional court vision and basketball IQ, Jalen heartfully reps the Knicks. After all, his father, Rick Brunson, played for the Knicks in his athletic days. For young Brunson, playing for New York is a full-circle moment.

Coming off a wonderful season, Knicks have ensured to build around Jalen and their roster. In a heartwarming fashion, the organization reunited Jalen with his college teammates.

New York Knicks are revolutionizing. They are now building up on Wildcats’ back. Coming from the first playoff-round playoff victory in 10 years, Knicks are better than they have been lately. What’s better than adding players that already have experience playing together?

The deal was possible after Josh Hart signed into his player option for the Knicks. This opened up cap space for NY to sign Donte DiVincenzo on a 4-year deal after his time with the Warriors.

Apart from Brunson, it’s fair to say that both players can run the offense smoothly and create their own shots. Additionally, the trio’s spot-up and off-ball abilities make them great role players. Their history as teammates can eradicate any synergy-related issues earlier in the season.

In an interesting incident, Josh Hart seemed to reach out to Mikal Bridges. Mikal, along with DiVincenzo and Brunson, is a former Villanova teammate of Josh. His tweet came out right when the NBA world hyped up the trio reunion.

Will this slowly lead to the entire Wildcats litter returning together? Time will only tell. Mikal recently revealed that he wanted to be drafted by Knicks in 2018. He can consider moving with his college-time buddies now to the Big Apple. However, the Nets have, so far, displayed interest in retaining Bridges.

Jalen Brunson’s Cryptic Tweet

Knicks fans are hyped up with the recent additions and cannot wait to watch the trio work on the court. Given the talks, it was obvious that people wanted to know the star’s two cents on his Villanova teammates.

On a normal day, Jalen Brunson took the queries regarding his new teammates to Twitter. He mentioned them as “coworkers” and claimed to have a professional relationship with them.

Fans couldn’t help but radiate their views on Twitter. The Tweet soon became an interesting thread.

Some fans immediately jumped on the tweet’s possibility of being a joke. They could probably decipher the intended tone of the Tweet.

Some fans knew the trio enough to disrupt any possibilities of animosity. @rosthimjim posted a pic to convey the same.

While some fans cracked the case, some took the joke too literally. @C_Reilly5 replied with a picture of Brunson in a suit.

Some fans simply posted random videos of the Brunson enjoying with his teammates during college.

It is obvious that Brunson’s tweet was just a lighthearted jab at his fellow “coworkers.” The trio has a deep history of playing together and playing for some of the best teams in the NBA. The Villanova group is certainly set to deliver some extremely loud moments in Madison Square Garden this year.
