Aaron Judge is a free agent and has the attention of all Major League Baseball fans. With that said, earlier in the week, Judge was seen interacting with officials from the San Francisco Giants. The Bay Area is filled with sports frenzy fans. So Judge’s arrival not only left baseball fans excited but also made a Golden State Warriors legend speak up.

His current team, the New York Yankees, and Judge couldn’t mutually agree to terms for an extension deal. Naturally, Judge has been listening to pitches from teams across the league. Reports suggest that Judge spent two days in his hometown, San Francisco, while the Giants tried to offer him a solid deal. Furthermore, the Giants had a special trick up their sleeves, five-time NBA All-Star Chris Mullin, had a three-word message for Judge.

Warriors legend helps the Giants in their pitch to Aaron Judge

Before the Warriors vs LA Clippers game, Chris Mullin made a public pitch to Aaron Judge. He claimed that Oracle Park, the Giants’ home, is a beautiful place. Mullin also assured that Judge would certainly win championships. Mullin said, “Just look at what Steph Curry is doing here.”

He stated that the Bay Area has more to offer while claiming that New York or the Bronx has only let Judge down. Following this, Mullin had a simple 3-word message for Judge: “Come back home”. 

Mullin also stated that he would be a perfect replacement for Giants legend Barry Bonds. The Giants made their intentions with Judge very clear. They simply want him. They supposedly went all out in their proposal to Judge. Reports state that Judge was given a chance to get in touch with two-time MVP and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.

Supposedly, the Giants hoped that Curry could influence Judge’s decision. According to reports, the Giants are “hopeful that the two superstars could connect as Judge weighs his decision.” 

In the pre-game show, after Mullin’s pitch, former NBA champion Festus Ezeli also weighed in. He stated that athletes in the Bay Area support each other. He called for Judge to join the Giants as the Bay Area has a “champion crowd.”
