It is possible that sporting legends Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson might run into each other more often than they like in the future. NBA fans very well know about MJ’s love for cigars. Arguably one of the best cigar lounges, Eight Lounge was reported to open for its members at the $4.3 billion worth hotel called Resorts World Las Vegas. The lounge’s elite members list reportedly included former NHL star Wayne Gretzky, Alex Rodriguez, Charles Oakley, Mike Tyson; and, you guessed it right… Michael Jordan. This piece of information was released online on April 22, 2022 by Maxim.

Many people might be unaware of the fact that Michael Jordan and Mike Tyson have had quite an memorable encounter in the past. The two famous personalities were once almost involved in an altercation back in 1988. The incident occurred during the birthday party of former NFL player Richard Dent. According to Tyson’s ex-manager, Rory Holloway, the boxing legend tried to get in a physical dispute with Jordan.

The reason was that the former Chicago Bulls star had previously dated Tyson’s then-wife, Robin Givens. Holloway detailed the incident in his book, ‘Taming the Beast: The Untold Story of Team Tyson’.

“Mike stares across the table at Michael Jordan. He says: ‘Hey man, you think I’m stupid? I know you f—— with my b—-,'” wrote Holloway.

Furthermore, Holloway wrote, “Mike telling everyone he’s going to bust Jordan’s ass. Jordan’s dressed sharp as always and he can’t get out of there fast enough.”

Eight Lounge is a high-end cigar lounge located in Sin City at the Resorts World Las Vegas. The 7,000-sq-ft space includes several private rooms, complete with a 2,200-sq-ft outdoor terrace. Interestingly, like the name of the lounge, the venue has eight separate sections that also includes several private lockers. Eight Lounge also boasts a collection of rare and premium cigars that can go for up to $1,500 a piece.

Additionally, the lounge also offers a variety of cocktails and spirits to go with different cigars. Michael Jordan could possibly bump into Mike Tyson at Eight Lounge someday. It would be interesting to find out how their meeting goes, if it ever happens.
